The switcher, also known as the frog , refers
to the crossing point of two rails. This can be
assembled by several appropriately cut and bent
pieces of rail or can be a single casting of alloy
manganese steel. ISCAR offers a wide range of
standard and specially designed mills and drills
for the production of switchers.
